Puppy Owners Short Course

Held indoors at Dogcity Daycare, 24 King William St Kent Town

More than just a puppy school, this is a short course designed to give you the tools and knowledge to be a great leader to your new pup and have fun learning together.

Information covered includes:

  • Dog psychology and behaviour: understanding natural drives and how your puppy views the world
  • Managing your pup at home: resources, space and the family
  • Confidence building and desensitisation
  • Calm behaviour and how to get it
  • Sit, drop and stay
  • Leash walking: getting it right
  • Grooming and coat care with Maria Ormond
  • Health basics with Dr Mark Reeve BScV
  • Puppy socialisation and playtime!

Notes are distributed for each lesson and puppies are catered for at all sessions.

Training certificates issued on completion are valid for discounted council registration
