Oscar

Oscar the Cairn Terrier had a coat too fine to hand strip, so Maria clipped a gorgeous little do for him!

Lucy

This perfect little white bundle of joy is Lucy a Maltese cross.  Lucy had a Full Clip and Wash today and for winter was left a little longer than usual and with slightly longer legs (#3 blade legs and #4 blade body).  With cold winds on the way dogs fur can be left a little longer for warmth, but don’t forget to comb thoroughly every day to keep it long and knot free.

Tommy

This little guy is Tommy a Maltese cross Poodle and just had Full Clip and Wash with the ladies in the grooming room.  For winter the owners wanted  slightly longer hair cut and specifically Maria used a number 3 blade blade  all over Tommy and tidied up his face and paws to blend in.

Biscuit

This is Biscuit the Bichon Frise, who had a ‘Teddy Bear Cut’ and had his curls wet and reset, to give him the Bichon look his Mum was after.  A very sweet guy who has the hair cut to match.

Fergus

This little fella is Fergus the poodle cross Papillon.  Fergus gets a full clip every 6 weeks to keep the ladies interested and smelling good for all the cuddles he gets from Mum and the Dogcity staff.  Mum likes his tail a bit longer than the body and it looks cute as he wiggles it happily when he sees her.

Becky

This little girl is Becky a Wire Haired Fox Terrier, and doesn’t she looks sweet after having a Full Clip with Maria.

The Fox Terrier was developed by crossing ancient Dachshunds, English Hounds, and later the Fox Hound and Beagle. It is one of the oldest terrier type dogs, originating in the British Isles in the 17th century. They were used by farmers who needed dogs to help get rid of the animals that would prey on the farmers stock, such as the fox, rats and other small vermin.

Bambi

Have you seen anything as sweet as Bambi?  This little Yorkie Terrier pup fits in the palms of your hands and has a face that melts your heart!  Bambi had a Wash and Tidy with Maria and Elizabeth to get the fur tidied up around her face and paws and to have her smelling sweet after a big play with all her furry friends.

Redford

This handsome fellow is Redford, the Wheaten Terrier!  Full of energy Redford’s owners like to have him Washed and Tidied in-between his Summer Clips.  A Wash and Tidy includes: bath, blow dry, nail trim, ear clean, sanitary clip and the paws and face tidied, which is ideal for those who like their dogs fur a little longer for winter.   

Jack

This adorable little guy is Jack, a King Charles Cavalier, who is cute as a button!  Jack is going on holiday and the owners wanted him to be cool, and easy to take care of.  An even hair cut with one length all over and no feathering, is ideal for those who don’t want to worry about grass seeds and want an easy grooming routine.

Banjo

What sort of dog is that? I hear you ask… Pyrenean Mountain Dog is the answer. Banjo is one big softy with her lushes locks of long white fur and gorgeous face.  Banjo comes in regularly to get a basic wash ready for the show ring, and Maria gets her sparkling clean every time!

Mocha

This little girl is Mocha a Maltese cross Shih Tzu, she’s a whirl wind in daycare but cute as a button as she poses for her camera shot.  An Easy Care Summer Clip was the order of the day for Mocha to keep those summer grass seeds away from her little paws!

Clancy

This gentle giant is Clancy the Irish Setter, who is looking very handsome after his breed specific clip.  With his long feathers and shiny coat he is sure to sweep the ladies off their feet!

Saki

Meet Saki, this camera shy little girl is a Japanese Spitz.  Saki looks fabulous after her Wash and Tidy and is ready for the ‘cat walk’ or ‘dog walk’ we like to call it! 

Borris

This Stud is Borris the Airedale, with a breed specific clip done by Maria.  The owners of Borris loved his clip and book him in regularly to keep him looking beautiful for the ladies!

Murphy

Murphy the German Shepherd cross Rottweiler, looks sweet and sophisticated and lets admit pretty cute after a Wash and Tidy.  Maria and Elizabeth do a great job washing and tidying any breed and any size, the proof is Murphy.

Pimienta

Stunning, is one word to describe Pimienta, with her Schnauzer Breed Clip.  The owners loved her clip and keep coming back to see Maria to have Pimienta looking her best!

Teddy

Teddy the Maltese cross Poodle came in fluffy and left sleek and sophisticated after Maria worked her magic on him.  With a beautiful round face, slightly shorter body and longer tail, he looks great!

Stanley

This gorgeous creature is Stanley the Toy Labradoodle.  Stanley received an Easy Care Summer Clip at the owners request to keep him cool during the summer months.

Bella

As Bella’s name suggests she is looking beautiful with her Schnauzer clip from Maria, and judging by her smile she knows it!

Jelly Bean

This stunning Springer Spaniel is Jelly Bean and had a Breed Specific Clip with Maria.

Zelda and Scotty

These gorgeous little Shih tzu Cross puppies are Zelda and Scotty and look nice and cool with their Easy Care Summer Clips by the request of the owners.

Gretta

Gretta is a beautiful Cocker Spaniel and had an Easy Care Summer Clip at the owners request. This minimises grass seeds and burrs getting caught in the fur and keeps Gretta cool during the hotter months of the year.

Mack

Mack is a West Highland Terrier, as requested by the owner a breed specific clip was the order of the day for little Mack.

Hugo

Hugo is an Airdale Terrier who came in to see Maria to get his summer breed specific clip

Billy

Billy is a standard Poodle who received a breed specific clip form Maria and is now looking flash and ready to strut his stuff!

Clooney

Clooney is a Portugese Water Dog who received a breed specific clip with a rounded head and the legs left longer at the owners request. He will be sure to turn heads with this cool do!

Vasco

Vasco the Portuguese Water Dog received an easy care summer clip at the owners request for those hot months ahead.

Koffi

Koffi requested a Cocker Spaniel breed specific clip with a classic skirt. Gorgeous!

Buddy and Marvin

Lagotto Romagnolo breed specific clip with legs left longer at clients request.

Scruffy

Scruffy is a Cairn Terrier who came to Dogcity for a very special grooming sessions with Maria. Scruffy was hand stripped to remove the dead hair from a non shedding dog. Hand stripping is painless if performed correctly and should be done from a young age. Hand stripping is the proper style of grooming for most Terriers and leaves much needed room for the new coat to grow.

Cathy

Young Cathy received a great short coat ready for those warm summer days!

Madge

Madge and her brother Jeff are two beautiful Labradoodles who received a short all over clip ready for those warmer summer days.

Blixer

Blixer received a short all over summer clip at the owners request.

Baci

Maria used her skills to give young Baci a retro 5 pom pom clip at the owners request.

Harry

Preparing for summer, Harry received a short summer, non breed specific clip at the owners request.

Murphy

Maria gave this handosme boy a breed specific Schnauzer clip. The head and body was kept slightly longer at the owners request.

Ushi & Max

Ushi & Max are a pair of sweet Labradoodles who recieved a short summer clip for easy care. The legs were left longer than the body at owners request.

Murphy

Murphy received an easy summer cut for easy care. His legs were left longer but feet were cut shorter to keep out those nasty grass seeds at owners request.

Holly

Little Holly is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who received a breed specific clip from Maria who also left the feathering and ears slightly longer at owners request.

Ella

Ella received a wash and tidy with her appointment with Maria. She had her face and feet trimmed shorter for easy summer care.

Coco

Coco is a very energetic Toy Poodle puppy who received a breed specific or “Lamb clip” during her appointment with Maria.

Blair

During his appointment with Maria, Cocker Spaniel Blair received a short breed specific clip with no feathering for summer at owners request.

Cappuccino

Toy Poodle Cappuccino recieved a breed specific or “lamb clip” during his appointment. Her legs were left a little longer at owners request.

Ollie

Sweet Lagotto Ollie received a breed specific clip. His legs were left funky and longer at owners request and he came up a treat!

Upon owners request, Lucy recieved a easy care summer clip with a short body, longer tail and a Schnauzer face clip.
