Cuddly winter jumpers and jackets have arrived in-store this week at Dogcity! We are stocking the new Fuzzyard hoodies (pictured) and wraps with loads of street-cred, ever-popular Hamish McBeth pure wool jumpers in a range of colours and Best in Park’s dapper walking coats. New beds from the Snooza and Good Dog range have also arrived and ready to snuggle your pooch to sleep on cold wintery nights!

NCL Works!

Our hugely successful Natural Canine Leadership Class is working for our clients and is fast becoming THE training class that Adelaide dogs and owners love!

The course content, written by Tobias Diamond and Dogcity, addresses a dog’s natural drives and how owners can use these and canine languages to have more mutual satisfaction and reduce unwanted behaviours in their dogs. Learning how your dog sees the world and why he does the things he does will be a revelation in your relationship with him. This is not like other training classes you’ve tried before, this class will change the way you manage your dog for life!

Hamlet

This is Hamlet the blue Great Dane as a puppy on his way to his new home! Although this was a couple of years ago now, Hamlet is still a big puppy at heart and keeps all the other big dogs busy at daycare. His little mate from NCL class is Millie the mini-schnauzer, but apart from that Hamlet loves any dog that likes a good fast rumble!

Canine First Aid Seminar

Presented by Dr Mark Reeve BscV, the seminar covered crucial information to assist your dog in an emergency:

Thanks also to Trae, Dr Mark’s standard poodle who helped demonstrate some of the first aid procedures. Here she is taking a break in between her duties!

Buddy

Here is big Buddy teddybear holding his new favourite toy from Dogcity! Buddy is a gorgeous labradoodle who is much loved by his family and best friend Stella the shorthaired pointer. Buddy loves rolling on the ground, water and any dogs or people that will give him attention!

Clipsal Road Closures

Due to our great location in the city’s east end, we are unfortunately subject to some road closures during the Clipsal and ‘mad March’ period in Adelaide! It will be business as usual for the Dogcity team but plan ahead for your trip to Kent Town and leave early!

Sophie

This photo was taken in Bundaberg and Sophie had the ball in her mouth, I told her to drop it and she put it at her feet. Sophie was born 20th March 2009 in Port Hedland, Western Australia. She has travelled throughout the North West including the Gibb River Road. She then left Port Hedland and we travelled via Broome, across the top to Cairns, down to Bundaberg, where we spent 9 months in our 5th wheeler and left just before the floods for Adelaide. we are currently staying at Belair and plan to continue touring in April.

Sophie’s favourite toy is anything that squeaks! She’s very intelligent, eager to please, speaks English and loves walks, we have a Croozer dog trailer for behind our bikes and as long as she can come with us she’s happy.

We love Dogcity Daycare.

Price Rise Notice

To ensure that our business can continue to provide the same level of quality service for you and your dog(s) we have had to raise our prices for both the daycare and grooming services of the business.

Dogcity prides itself on customer service and providing a facility for owners and dogs to enjoy. Over the course of the last few years with rises in water, electricity and CPI, for us to continue to provide the level and quality of service you have come to expect from us we now need to pass on these costs. This is our first daycare price rise since the business opened 3 years ago.

The price rise will be effective from the 1^st March 2013 and will see prices increase by approximately 5%. Training and class prices remain unchanged.
